CHRISTOPHE LEMAIRE'S RADICAL SIMPLICITY

To mark his debut at thecorner.com, acclaimed French designer Christophe Lemaire has created the perfect summer wardrobe: a six-piece capsule collection of easy, versatile garments in crisp black and white. Ever since spotting his Fall/Winter 2011 collection, I've stayed fascinated by Christophe's aesthetic: global influences—African, Middle Eastern—with a post-punk and New Wave feeling. The monkish silhouettes and ever-mystifying relaxed/refined combination are right up my alley. Take a look at Samuel Drira's insightful interview.

thanks for the lovely comment :) I think Ill print these outfits out and stick them on the door of my wardrobe - exactly, the mix of exotic and new wave is unusual but works so well. x
