Parisien furniture maker and fashion designer Vincent Darré at home and at work in his shop, Maison Darré

I stumbled upon these delicious photos deep in the archives of The Selby, and having remembered seeing them before—and admiring them once again—I decided that they needed sharing.
With its bits and bobs and curious eccentricities, the apartment reminds me of a workspace designed for a refined Salvador Dalí, but more French and more elegant despite its somewhat dystopian ambience. I want to visit soon.
